IIS-Software Inc.

IIS Software, Inc. has been developing software solutions for clients since our founding in 1998. Building on our strength in custom software development, our consulting staff now provides training, implementation consulting and support services for IIS' products, while continuing to provide custom application development services to customers worldwide. In addition, the company has worldwide relationships with partners and value-added resellers to distribute and support its product offerings. The diversity of our consulting service offerings ensures that our consulting staff are trained in applying the latest technologies to business problems in a variety of industries, while focusing on meeting our clients business needs.

Over its 10 year history, IIS has developed a successful approach to delivering strategic software systems. That approach focuses on putting our customers at the center of the software development process and in delivering systems in short time frames to maximize their impact.

What Makes Our Approach Unique?

Systems Development
Systems must be client driven to succeed. In many cases, dramatic "re-engineering" is neither feasible nor effective. IIS begins by acknowledging that you know the most about your business, and that our expertise in systems and technology must augment that knowledge, not serve judgment on it.

Most strategic systems have a short window of opportunity; usually under one year, and often under six months. Beyond that time frame, business needs, key personnel, systems environments, even technology can change, leaving the new system ineffective, obsolete or without organizational support. IIS employs a prototyping methodology to move rapidly from initial vision to working system, and to accommodate shifts in thinking and the business environment that have occurred during development. Most of our systems are built in far less time than clients expect, with prototypes developed in a few months and in some cases even weeks.

A dynamic team approach is an important element in rapid and flexible system building. This approach requires creating appropriately sized teams that receive end-to-end responsibility for a project, from initial functional description and knowledge engineering through each stage of the software life cycle. And because our staff members are trained in many business and technical disciplines, teams can be dynamically reconfigured as projects increase in scope and size.

Development efforts at IIS often employ emerging technologies that dramatically improve the way an organization processes information. Our success at quickly identifying promising technologies and recognizing application for clients is based on the following principle: strategic systems must be driven by strategy, not technology. Our use of expert systems, client server technology, open systems, multidimensional databases, natural language processing, and object oriented programming has been thoughtfully applied to deliver high-payback solutions to practical applications.

System Consulting
IIS has developed significant industry and management expertise as we have worked with business leaders seeking to improve their companies. This expertise allows us to develop and implement systems quickly for our clients. Our inventory of skills includes strategic simulation and modeling, economic and financial analysis, training, survey design and statistical analysis, systems dynamics and operations planning.

Industry Knowledge
The strategic application of technology is not limited by industry boundaries. IIS has traversed the globe to help businesses achieve their full potential through custom software solutions. We have worked extensively with companies in telecommunications, consumer products, banking, retail, manufacturing and government agencies. Our long-term relationships with clients allow us to gain insight into their critical business issues. These insights provide the opportunity to extend the strategic vision into many realms of the organization, whether in the board room or on the work floor.
